Erwin`s Great Steaks in Covington

Food was Excellent and the staff at this restaurant was so friendly. We were visiting from Murfreesboro , Tennessee. And we really enjoyed this restaurant

This restaurant seems to be out in the middle of nowhere. Also, the only advertising I've ever seen for it was on a building in Covington that has now been demolished, so I wondered how it stayed open. After eating there, I know how - great food, great service. We will definitely be back many more times.

First time I had been there and was great

Great food with a great atmosphere!

It was horrible! The T bones were nothing but fat in every bite and the lobster tail was rubbery. I sent my steak back once and finally boxed up both of them for my dogs.

Good out of the way restaurant. Nothing fried, either baked, grilled or broiled.

Our first time eating at Erwin's Great Steaks. The food was great, and the atmosphere was wonderful. Some of the most friendly staff. Plan on going back as much as we can. For great food and great service, stop in at Erwin's. You'll be back!

Just had my first dinner here.Perfect.Steak and grilled shrimp with 2 sides.Perfect.Nice homey setting with antiques, photos, paintings, unique furniture and soft music in the background. The very best part of this was the people.Every single person was so nice.Good food, good atmosphere, good people, a 5-Star experience that I will do again and again now that I have been here.

The steak and shrimp is good and the prices are very reasonable. The servers treat their guests with respect and are very very courteous. The hostess is very hospitable and seat you in an orderly fashion. Excellent food and service

The food was great and reasonably priced. Gauranteed to get full. And the deserts were to die for. The employees were very courteous and made me feel like I've known them for years. It was the first time I've met them. And it has a great atmosphere. Definitely will highly recommend to others and I will be back for sure. ( Thank yall for putting up with me and my family.) I hope to be back soon.

Went here after hearing wonderful things about them. Out in the middle of absolutely nowhere. Service was great but the food ... not so much. It wasn't bad at all, but was far from great.

Awesome food great people!

One of our favorite places in Covington to eat. So, it's out in the stick a bit but well worth the drive. If you leave hungry it's your own fault. We always have one of the specials and and three of four sides. My favorite so far is the sashimi tuna steak cooked on the grill rare. There pies are to die for but usually have to get them to go.

Great local hidden place to eat. Great service, very friendly and attentive. The food is prepared very well, and the squash casserole was very delicious. The Ribeye was tender and cooked to specification. The entire experience was great.

Owner and crew were very nice and inviting. They were very helpful with the menu. Not a long wait time for the food. The food was home made, and awesome. This was our first visit. We will be back. A truly great experience! Covington should be proud to have it.

Very nice atmosphere/decor, good food with varying menu specials, and friendly staff. Odd location - somewhat remote.

A hidden gem, that's off the beaten path. Friendly staff, beautifully decorated dining space. A menu any foodie would love. Steaks, quail, and alligator are always on the menu, and the daily specials are a hit! My father in law had the bacon wrapped rabbit, wich he said was delicious, and judging by the size, it was a healthy portion. Every entree comes with your choice of 3 sides, the spicy tomato slaw does not disappoint. Be sure to save room for the decadent dessert menu. After eating my perfectly seasoned rib eye, I chose the pumpkin custard pie. Overall a delicious meal cooked with heart and served with class. We will definitely be back, and will treat out of town guests to dinner at this very fine establishment. Cheers to the entire staff at Erwins! We'll see you soon!

Great food with great atmosphere!

We went Friday night around 630 the place was busy but very well organized. We were seated and had our drink order taken very fast. We noticed no appetizers on the menu and after eating a perfect meal we saw that there was no need for appetizers. I had a perfectly cooked Ribeye while my wife had lobster tail. The food and service were spot on. The atmosphere was great we will be back and will take friend's

Amazing food, the alligator is good. Took a bottle of "the stuff" home and it makes a great chicken seasoning.

What a fantastic meal! Never had a lackluster experience here. Love this place! Food is great! Service is great! The whole town of Covington is great!
